In December 2008, I was "let go" or "downsized" from my job. As with anyone who has recently lost a job and they know - there's just not an abundance of jobs out there waiting to be filled. After picking myself up and dusting myself off, I decided to explore options that would not only suit me, but also suit the needs of my potential clients. I'm an independent thinker and it's been my experience that most managers don't know how to fully appreciate independent thinkers. So with that I realized that becoming a business owner was a viable solution. But the challenge was that I had to decide on the type of Business Venture I would journey on. Well, since I absolutely love ALL things fashion related that decision was easy.
